General Approach

Over many years, Greenstreets has developed working methodologies that allow it to quickly understand and grasp the key issues faced by its clients. Experience has shown that a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work as businesses operate in different cycles with individual needs and requirements.

As a first step therefore, some form of Gap Analysis is normally undertaken to help determine the immediate needs of the client and establish a set of core objectives.

  • This starts with a comprehensive review of any existing or available data such as product listings with codes, descriptions, pack sizes, and general categories;
  • If key data are missing or unavailable, Greenstreets may request authorization to contact either packaging or product suppliers to provide this.
  • Finally, Greenstreets will ask for details of sales quantities by product or approximate percentage apportionment, in order to establish some measure of the work involved.

Once this data has been assessed, a Commercial proposal is prepared, however it should be stressed that there is no cost to prospective clients, nor any commitment sought prior to this point in the process. Naturally, Confidentiality Agreements are signed prior to any information being shared.

Greenstreets’ working methodologies are acknowledged by regulatory authorities in a broad range of countries including UK, Ireland, France, Austria, Canada and Australia.

Costing Methodology

With most projects, two key elements make up the bulk of the costs:

  1. Gathering and verifying Packaging Data: Workload varies widely depending on general data quality and availability, but also on the degree of difficulty in obtaining missing data. Some of this may be provided by suppliers; alternatively a range of sampling methodologies are used

  2. Preparing (and if requested, submitting) data reports to Dual Systems: Once data is verified, it is loaded onto purpose-designed software (GRIPSTM), which automatically sorts it and applies specific rules; from this the reports are quickly generated. Main cost variables are product volumes and frequency of reporting.

Greenstreets will provide a comprehensive costed proposal within 2-3 working days of all requested data having been made available.
