From what they say in the article, there is no change to the consumer whatsover - either in terms of the process of getting the waste to the plant for turning in to gas - or in terms of the end product ; it does the same job and smells the same. Why would we not want to go down this route?
If the North sea gas resources are running down anyway, presumably we could be at risk of higher prices of gas from Russia or the Middle East anyway?
