Our Story

This rural village is looking to develop a project that will encourage participation from all sections of the community.

The project brings together energy efficiency measures in villagers’ homes, and a potential source of income via Clean Energy Cashback schemes on renewable energy generation technologies.

Firstly, around 20 homes will get funding for energy assessments, insulation and Smart Meters. Then the community will look at installing microgeneration technologies in homes, businesses and a private school which will share the income from Clean Energy Cashback tariffs in a charitable community fund.
